


This recipe will serve about 10 people.
3 Cups Basmati rice
2 lbs mixed Vegetables (Frozen)
1 Medium sized Onion (sliced)
3 tbsp cooking oil
2 bay leaves
3 Cardamoms
2 tsp Haldi
1 tsp Chilli powder
2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Paprika
Fry the onions till brown, add spices and rice and heat the
rice through. Add the vegetables
and stir until well defrosted. Add 5
cups of boiling water to the pan and turn down heat
as far as possible.
Put a good fitting lid on the pan and do not touch
it for at least 12
minutes, see section on rice
